Accountant from Zaporizhia Region Serviced 28 Companies
In 2025, Ukraine reported over 61,300 accountants in the financial statements of companies. 86% of accountants work with one company, while only 29 specialists service 10 or more businesses. One accountant from the Zaporizhia region serviced a record 28 companies last year. On average, there is 1.2 companies per accountant, a figure that has remained stable for five years. 86% of accountants are listed with only one company, 14% work with two to four, and 279 accountants manage five or more enterprises. The second place for the number of serviced companies is held by an accountant from Dnipropetrovsk and Zhytomyr regions with 23 companies. The third place, with 22 companies, is also held by an accountant from Dnipropetrovsk, who works with municipal educational institutions. In 2025, the number of companies with accountants decreased to 75,000 from 80,700 in 2022, and the number of submitted annual forms dropped from 126,900 to 116,400. The highest number of accountants is in Kyiv — over 13,000, followed by Dnipropetrovsk region (5,800), Lviv region (4,300), Kyiv region (4,000), and Odesa region (4,000). Nearly 80% of Ukrainian companies ended 2025 with a profit.
